Since it has warmed up a little in my smoke haus...only 3 C. I'm enjoying a nice Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Double Corona

Still debating on what I'm going to enjoy at the bar tonight.

Last night I had an Edge maduro (thanks Donald).
Edgeman, I can see why you like these things, this was my first edge, and I gotta say, I nubbed that thing...even burned my finger (now I have to wear a Sponge Bob bandaide).

Thanks again Donald for introducing me to these cigars.

I agree, I saw his comments on them so I had to pick up one. I was drinking pretty heavily, and loved it... I figured that since I was drinking, I could not trust myself and I picked up another one. Still thought it was awesome. Now I need to pick up a box =)

    Glad you enjoyed it Keith.

I finished off the night with an Oliva O Torp during the online herf.

Started off with a bang this morning with a DPG JJ maduro toro ( a little strong for a morning smoke but I don't regret it =). Dayam good smoke.

Tried my first Consuegra (thanks dude you know who you are) this afternoon... It was a torp.
I have to say very very smooth, not a whole lot happening in the flavor department. Not tasteless, just not full of flavor that we come to expect. For an inexpensive stick I would buy them.

After dinner and with my Wisers Canadian Whiskey I am having a Padilla 1932 Signature Robusto. Excellent stick.
It has (and some people do not get this flavor profile) a floral/boutique flavor to it. With that being said it is advertised as a Full bodied smoke but I
put it in the medium-full range leaning towards medium. It does not seem full on to me. Nonetheless a wonderful stick.
In the third third it is getting rather strong now...

With all this talk about the Camacho triple maduro's I had to dig one out of my humidor for the ride in to work tonight.

Gran Habano VL 2005 - one of GH's less well-recieved efforts. Blended by Rico Senior, this maduro was never a powerhouse, and was pretty mild at almost five years.

El Surco - cheap, machine-made, short-filler, ugly, full of raw uncomplicated tobacco flavour, and a nicotene kick. At just over a year old, these Cuban domestic market smokes (not available to tourists) are a reminder that it is not just the premium cigar market that will change once the embargo is lifted.
