La Gloria Cubana Natural ~ Wavell

A different smoke for sure. This is one I was drawn to early on in smoking cigars. I have a soft spot for them. I don't reach for them often, but tonight it fit the bill perfectly. A unique flavor profile to me, and the seem to get better and better with age.

El Triunfador (Original) - Good smoke, but I prefer the Illusione H if I'm in the mood for a Lancero
Smoke em' if you got em'

I had my first one of these about a week ago. Was looking forward to it but I was a little let down by it.

Wife is getting home late tonight which makes it a perfect time for a smoke while out with the dog. Will most likely fire up a RyJ Vintage Toro. I've only had a handful of RyJs and haven't been impressed. So, I'm hoping that this one will change my mind.

    Hello.

This evening I am sitting on the back patio after a swim in the pool drinking a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and decided to light up a Man O' War Robusto.

I am sure I'll tap into something else after this.

Di Fazio Maduro Torpedo - The last one in my humidor. Thank God.

    Macanudo Maduro –

Now I’m not a big fan of Macanudo’s. But last evening my wife and I went to a tapa’s bar on the water front. I stopped at a liquor store on the way to pick up a smoke. Acrylic humidor filled with over priced Cohiba’s, some Te-amos and Macanudos.
I passed on the Mac Hyde Park and picked a maduro shaped like the Punch Champion.
I don’t know if it was the good company, the three bottles of wine or the wonderful Spanish food, but the cigar was pretty good. It had been months since I just sat down and talk, laughed and enjoyed my wife company. You get lost in the day to day and forget what’s important. There is something wonderful about sitting in an outdoor café while the breeze blows off the water. Good food, good wine & good company.
As far as the cigar – The Macanudo Maduro Butt Plug gets a not half bad.

Liga Privada T-52 Robusto - Good smoke. Different than the No. 9 with more spice and an extremely oily wrapper.

I've become a big fan of the T-52. Ive had draw issues with the longer No.9's

I like the T-52 but I prefer the No. 9. I've had the same draw issues on the longer No. 9's. The No. 9 Robusto is my favorite of the whole lot.
