Jose L Piedra Cazadores. I enjoyed this guy although the draw was pretty tight.

Thinkin i'm going to step out onto the back deck and try out my Nosotros. Will edit later with an anticipated number for the next time I buy it, haha.

Edit: The Nosotros was good, but not as good as I was hoping based on what I had read and been told. But hey, for the price I got it at it was a decent smoke.

Felt like going old school last evening.
Sat out on the farmers porch listening to the rain fall.

How does the Maduro compare to the natural? I really enjoy the natural.

I do not know when compared to the natural I only got the Maduro fiver. But I do know the maduro has a strong leathery flavor with hints of wood and maybe some toast after about 2 or 3 inches into it, what I remember anyway. Real good smoke.

Last night was a Padron. Don't know if it was a 5000 or a 3000.

Last night I tried a 5 Vegas Cask-Strength and was not impressed with it at all. I got about half way through and just couldn't bring myself to finish it.

I typically like the 5 Vegas line of cigars as a decent starter smoke for a long night of drinking. But this one was just awful IMO and it took many drinks and shots to get rid of the taste. I didn't want to lay fire upon another and have that one tainted by the the cask.

I ended the night with a Perdomo Habano which I found to be absolutely fantastic. After about 45 minutes or so it started to burn my fingers and I reluctantly put it down. Great smoke I thought and would love to have another.

Just started the Kinky Friedman Willie... I think that I'll need something after that to take the taste out of my mouth but we'll see what happens!

Unfortunately I have to work this evening so I brought the laptop outside on the back patio. It is a beautiful evening and I pulled a Padron 1926 Serie out of the humidor which is tasting really good as I sit here and watch paint dry.

Time to schedule some business trips out of the country. I smoked my last CC last night. El Ray Del Mundo Choix Supreme #4 (great cigar). Smoked it with a Full Sail Amber Ale.

Tonight is a lovely little Camacho 1962 Edicion Limitada with some ice water. Good way to end an easy day!

So I guess I wasn't the only one with a "rotten" stick? Maybe we got a bad box? There is no way they could sell those sticks for 8+bucks a pop and have any repeat business. If I picked those up for a buck a piece I would have been pissed!
