I have heard/seen people say not so nice things about the Macanudo's but I believe that I have to try them for myself before making any final judgement.

Today I went to a B&M around here that has a nice lounge to sit around in and tried a Macanudo Maduro Vintage 1997. At first it was pretty harsh and made me wince but after that, it wasn't too bad. Certainly not the best stick I've ever had but not the worst by far. I won't be stocking them in my humidor but prolly wouldn't pass one up if offered.

This cigar smoked like a savory meal. Pretty incredible, I even puffed on it the next morning. Thanks to a great BOTL.

Default rocky patel decade 10th anniversary torpedo

my god, it was so good. Enjoyed this guy last night.

I bought a new fire pit, got a roaring flame going, and my buddy arrives with two of these (one for him, one for me). Sat back, relaxed and enjoyed while killing a 4 pack of Guinness full pints. Good times.

Later on last night i also enjoyed a La Gloria Cubana that i had nestled in my humidor.

Got invited to a cigar night at my favorite B&M and went (last night).

Turns out Camacho cigars have not been available in Canada and they are now finally being brought in here. My B&M's supplier from Montreal came down with a rep from Camacho and we had a Montreal smoked meat dinner and:

    - Camacho Corjo Machitos (before dinner)
    - Camacho Corjo Churchill or Robusto (after dinner)

I had the Churchill Corjo after supper and liked it so much I brought one home with me. The dinner was great, the cigars better and the cost was 0 All in all, an excellent evening and well worth the 4 hours of driving I had to do to attend it.
