This cigar was pretty good - flavor was ok, but fairly plain with quick finish. The belicoso is much better, IMO. But strap yourself in - it's pretty strong.

Just had a JlP Petit Cetros accompanied by a small bourbon, bad weather here so couldn't have anything more challenging. Acceptable but nothing to write home about.

Another great night... First it was a Reo Corona - the new United Tobacco offering... Very nice

Then it was a ISOM Farm Rolled - very nice - smoked like a dream...

This night definitely made up for Labor Day

Was in Dallas over the weekend and found two shops I'd not been in - Dallas Cigars and Up In Smoke - great inventory, nice people, a good time browsing. and spending.

    September 12th:

Two sticks - it was a nice day!

A Macanudo Robust maduro robusto (very nice for the price) and a monster JR Ultimate (sent by the father-in-law) in a shape I'd never seen, sort of an oversized lancero, 8 x 42. Long and skinny. Much better than the other JR Ultimates I'd tried.

Just enjoyed a Sancho Panza courtesy of Jonesy through the PIF, somewhere around churchill size from honduras with what I would call an oscuro wrapper. Enjoyed it a lot and will buy the next box I see (if I can find room).
