Enjoying a Davidoff Calssic no 2 with my Green Mountain extra bold sumatran this morning. Mild cigar and strong coffee in the morning for me.

Good show? I've wanted to see them forever; unfortunately they don't make it through MT too often

Smoked What I presume was a Cohiba Esplenidos, but I presume it was a fake, still a 1/2 decent smoke that I tried to resurrect for the past year and a half, From a friends dried out humidor. Going to try one I have in the box that I'm 100% sure I know is real tommorow, see if there is a big difference.

    Maduro day.

Oliva G Special G Mad - these seem a lot better to me with a couple years on them.

Añejo 55 - maduros don't get much better than this ...

Tonight, enjoying a Gurkha Maduro Shagg. One of my favorites. Celebrating the birth of my good friend's baby girl. Long ashes.

Yeah, the show was awesome. I saw them this past May too. The set list was quite a bit different at this show from May. Here's what they did:

1945 – Mainliner (Wreckage of the Past)
Machine Gun Blues – Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes
    Mommy’s Little Monster – Mommy’s Little Monster
Bad Luck – Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell
So Far Away – Social Distortion
King of Fools – Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell
Untitled – White Light, White Heat, White Trash
Story of My Life – Social Distortion
Bakersfield – Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes
Gimme the Sweet and Lowdown – Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes
Reach For the Sky – Sex, Love and Rock and Roll
Six More Miles – (Hank Williams cover)
Nickels and Dimes – Sex, Love and Rock and Roll

    Encore:

Dear Lover – White Light, White Heat, White Trash
Don’t Drag Me Down – White Light, White Heat, White Trash
    Prison Bound – Prison Bound
Ring of Fire – Social Distortion

They're doing three shows in a row in Denver 12/2 - 12/4. The 12/3 & 12/4 shows are already sold out. That's over 8 hours away from you isn't it? The shows around here draw big crowds but they don't sell out. Of course the Dropkick Murphys probably don't sell out in Denver but try getting a DKM ticket for a show anywhere in New England and you'll be hard pressed to find one.

Oh, no cigars on November 20th, still trying to get over smoking four in one day on the 18th. I just can't smoke cigars the way I used to.....

Ya, it's about 8 hours. I've made that drive many times for shows, never in December, though. That trip could get really long if any weather decided to show up; there are only about 4 towns with hotels all the way across Wyoming.

Sounds like it was a good show. I haven't gotten into their new one yet, but WL WH WT and Mainliner were on heavy rotation in my shitty apartment when it came out in the mid-90's.

Ah, I also smoked a PAM exclusivo. Deelish.

I think my favorite is the 2nd newest, Sex, Love & Rock & Roll, the one right after WL, WH WT. My second favorite is the new one and then it's a toss up between the three in the middle, Social Distortion, Somewhere & WL WH WT. I'm not so much of a fan of the first two BUT the more I get into SD, the more I can appreciate the first two classics. If I had ever heard of SD back in the day, I probably would not have liked them, so I'm glad I just recently discovered them and can now better appreciate their classic stuff.

Yeah, I can imagine that drive acroos Wyoming can be awfully lonely at times. Your part of Montana is pretty sparsely populated but that stretch of Wyoming you travel through on the way to Denver probably makes Yellowstone County (with the exception of Billings) look like the big city, LMAO!

Today's smoke was another Añejo 48. I will NEVER get sick of these. The ones I got up in New Hampshire were from last year so having a year of age on them is like extra icing on the cake. My shop called me today and told me they saved a box of 50s for me, yeeeeeeeHA. I'll probably pick them up after Thanksgiving.

One can never have too many Añejos in one's humidor.
