smoked an Ancient Warrior perfecto last night. I was pleased with the flavor, but it seemed to be lacking on volume of smoke.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of having an Hoyo du Roi from 2001...absolutely COVERED in plume. It was one of the best cigars I've ever had.

just finished a sancho panza paired with crown and sprite. These two substances get along very well with each other.

Tonight I had a Cusano P1 - I've got the CC & MC to go, I hope they're as good as this one was.
Started raining on me/the laptop while I was smoking it & had to move to the garage.

    In order of preference:

Live Blue - the Argentinian puro. This one was much better than the first Blue I had, and tasted similar to a big ring Dona Flores, but better. My guess is the mata fina tobacco.

Jose L. Piedras Conservas - Two years old, and getting, well, simpler. Time for me to smoke the rest of the packs from this bundle up, I think.

Oliva O Mad - I used to like this cigar, now its just a well-made something to smoke, nothing special. Still, a step up from a Flor de Oliva.

    Onyx Torbusto:

Cant say id recommend this cigar to anyone. burn issues plagued this cigar from the start. one half burned at about 1 inch faster than the opposite side, which just tunneled throughout. flavor was decent but the smoke volume i was looking for just wasnt there. It took 3 big draws to get a decent amount.

definitely not worth the 7.25 i paid for it, though i suspect, after checking cigars international, that my b&m back home inflated the price by a fair amount. if i could find one for about $4 I might pick up another one to give it a try.

Today I had a Padron 1964 maduro to celebrate my award at work - wife and I are going to Maui for a week in January... all expenses paid by my company!!

edited to add: That's the first time I've ever burnt my fingers smoking a cigar. It WAS that good.
