For me today was another El Titan de bronze. When I opened the humi it just jumped out. Going to have to get more very soon. My buddy has had 2 of them.

    Padron A Maduro
My Father Le Bijou 22 something or other corona gorda

FYI: cold cigars (these were in the basement at about 40 degrees) don't smoke as well as normal.

    Default Today's smokes......

Second one today in my newly cleaned out garage - aka winter smoking room, Headley Grange Drumstick. This is my second one from this line, and if you have not had one I very much recommend it. The first one I had was closer to a corona, this one is the lancero. Nice syrupy sweet, smooth flavor with just the right amount of spice. I think I'll be stocking up on these soon.

And yes, of course I'm rocking some Led Zeppelin while smoking this.

Penny Lane is enjoying this evening with me too.

I'm reviewing an Oliva 'O' blue Cloth band I got in a trade

This thing is great. The Eagles are going good with this.

Oh yeah, Molly is down here too, chillin. I put her through the wringer today throwing ball in the bitter cold. She's finally relaxing.

I betcha I know where that Blue Band came from. Back in the day, those little buggers (and the red cloth bands) used to be all over the place at Herfer's Paradise..

    Kevin - was that you?

New to me the Raices 1941. So far a nice smooth well constructed cigar. Started off mild but building. I'm very satisfied so far

Well I had my first AF Short Story.....very bad construction. Did not burn well at all. Flavors were nice but overall was unenjoyable. Maybe one day I will give another one a try. Maybe it was just the way the local B&M kept it?????

That's very unusual in my experience. Sometimes I get a realtively hard draw on some, but usually impeccable construction, good burn, etc. How long from the time you purchased it to the time you smoked it? What do you mean, exactly, "bad construction?"
