I bought a box of the Coloniales last year.

I would have bought the Funadores (cigar in my picture) but it was end of tourist season and I couldn't find a full box, or even some singles that hadn't been picked over, dropped and stepped on.

I'm one person who would take a Trinidad over ANY Cohiba any day.

    CAO Mx2 Gorda

A bad ending to a great day. Without going into a long review this is the second CAO to dissapoint. I want to like them but I've got one more in the box (America Landmark) and we'll see where I go from there.

Smoking the ones I have left. I hate to waste anything.

Smoked a Partagas 150 Robusto... hands down one of the best smokes I've had to date.

    Yum

Gurkha Doble Maduro - decent smoke, but not as good as I expected, had some burn and wrapper problems. Nice flavor for first 2/3rds though.

Just had an Oliva Serie V Double Robusto - gorgeous day for it too, if not a bit windy.

Augusto Reyes Nativo - good smoke that alsmost had a chocolate bean taste prior to lighting. Smooth meduim body through out, with consistent burn and draw.

    Ashton Cabinet No. 3

A great finish of the day. A good cigar after a long line of duds. Thanks to the folks on this site for recommending it,
