Enjoyed an Oliva Series V Torpedo last night with my bro and my son. I figured the Oliva would be a little strong for a cigar newbie so I gave my son an RP Vintage 1990. This is the first cigar I've ever had with my kid. He has smoked those gas station cigar from time to time for a while now and I asked him if he wanted to try a real one last night and he did. He said he enjoyed it so maybe we'll do it again some time.

Gurkha Royal Challenge Torpedo (6.5 x 53, HON)

I am a noob cigar connoisseur but i can say what ive learned thus far. This stogie was elite for me. Enjoyed this with 5 pints of youngs double chocolate stout and a few other beers. And yeah I got a little inebriated but sober enough to call this stick a very good one. In my limited time this was one of the best. I will smoke another for sure. I would have actually smoked another right after this one was done but i didnt have any more : (

I bought two of these a while back and was a bit disappointed because it was sold as a really strong cigar. It wasn't that strong. I am heading into the second one today with a different mindset. We'll see if I like it any better.

Started with a La Traviata then moved on to a Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial. Both great smokes in my opinion.
