Smoked a few Oliva Serie V belicosos over the past couple days. The first one was pretty good. The second two were just alright.

Romeo y Julieta Habana Reserve - Perfecto style. I don't know the name and could not find it
on any cigar site. This cigar was lost on the bottom of a humidor and forgotten for about two years.

Flor D Gonzalez Selection - Extra Corona. Not a bad tasting cigar. If they put more effort into the wrapper and band the would have a good product. Wrapper is wrinkled and off color. Band is adhired with Industrial adhesive. First time I have ever seen this. Most use a vegtable based glue that dries well, dry. This is the type of glue that stays tacky and can be stuck back together. Getting the band off will with out a doubt cause wrapper tears. This cigar was a freebie from Famous.

Jamie, My opinion. I have smoked both and have to say I enjoy them the same for different reasons. Both are fantastic, IMO. Some people do not like the Le Bijou as well as the original. I am different, I guess. The Le Bijou is a complex little sucker. I smoked a few of the Short Robustos and cannot recall a cigar changing up so much. All off which were good flavors with the last 1/4 or so being the least interesting. The originals are start to finish a great peppery experience with immaculate construction. I wish I could afford to smoke either of these lines as a daily or regular rotation....

Today was another La Aroma de Cuba

A good moderate smoke for after dinner, not too heavy but not too light.

2 Oliva Connecticut Reserves during 9 holes of golf. They eased the pain of a bad case of the shanks.
