Ok, just came back from the cigar shop, picked up a Helix amung other things. They had them on sell... and I kinda liked the blue tube (haha). It had been several years since I smoked a helix. Most say they are crap.. well- I went to cut it and the damn thing split in half. It wasnt dryied out either. I got a partagas out now, if it tears appart I'm going to stop smoking

    BBF around lunchtime.

I'm thinking I might be able to sneak in a Cusano Corojo 1997 Rothschild before the day is over.

    Default Oooo..

My buddy and his wife came up from Tampa for the weekend. Went to their old neighborhood with them for a lobster pig-out. Did up some Thai-style Mussels too. Yum.

My buddy and I started the day with Gurkha Expedition Churchills. The noon-time smokes were Partagas Black Bravos. The evening's smokes were Fuente Cuban Bellicosos and as I type I'm hitting on a Torano Silver Gran Churchill.

I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the Partagas Bravo. I don't usually go for maduro but this was great. There was no sickly sweetness usually accompanied by a maduro wrap. They started leathery, earthy then picked up a great burnt sugar tone. Very impressed.
