Ok, just came back from the cigar shop, picked up a Helix amung other things. They had them on sell... and I kinda liked the blue tube (haha). It had been several years since I smoked a helix. Most say they are crap.. well- I went to cut it and the damn thing split in half. It wasnt dryied out either. I got a partagas out now, if it tears appart I'm going to stop smoking![]()

BBF around lunchtime.
I'm thinking I might be able to sneak in a Cusano Corojo 1997 Rothschild before the day is over.

My buddy and his wife came up from Tampa for the weekend. Went to their old neighborhood with them for a lobster pig-out. Did up some Thai-style Mussels too. Yum.
My buddy and I started the day with Gurkha Expedition Churchills. The noon-time smokes were Partagas Black Bravos. The evening's smokes were Fuente Cuban Bellicosos and as I type I'm hitting on a Torano Silver Gran Churchill.
I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the Partagas Bravo. I don't usually go for maduro but this was great. There was no sickly sweetness usually accompanied by a maduro wrap. They started leathery, earthy then picked up a great burnt sugar tone. Very impressed.
