Got the fire ripping and poured a small nip of port. Quick sip and I really liked the bold fruit taste. Quite sweet, but sipping along with the Padron 2000 was a nice pair. Ended up drinking about 4 ounces in total. I think port would complement just about any cigar>
As for the Padron 2000, it was fan-fucking-tastic!
I know it is a fairly common smoke for you guys here, but they are hard to come by up here and they are $$$. The stick burned evenly from the moment I lit it until I nubbed it. Immediately tasted what I thought was pepper which remained for the entire stick in varying amounts of strength. Draw was perfect and I finally had to kill it before I burnt my fingers!

edit- Also smoked a cigar called an "Iguana". It was terrible and had to throw it in the fire after halfway.

Just worked over a Victor Sinclair Triple Corojo... That was my first one and I "will" be getting more of these. I really enjoyed this one.

I bought these cigars about two years back while in Portugal.
They are the bundle line from the same manufacturer of the super premium Flor de Selva.
The cigar was neither good nor bad. I recall it being much better when I first bought them. Maybe it was the outdoor coffee café and a warm & sunny Portuguese morning, because on a cold & rainy New Bedford evening they where just OK.
It was just a cigar, nothing special
