Hung over and smoking a Java with my morning coffee.
Now that its cooling off some in the morning I'm back to coffee infused cigars first thing in the AM.

after the casa magna i have experienced an unidentifiable Fuente and then some sort of EPC. It's all been just fantastic. A great night of drinks and smokes and chats in east Tennessee. Go Vols tomorrow imo. Good night cigarsmokers.com.

Tonight I had almost an hour to kill on my way home, before my train rolled into Union Station, Portland. Outside, a surprisingly-nice smoking area awaited; complementing the perfectly clear, warm, and windless night; topped with a bright and full moon.

While not the most delicious maduro I've had, I thoroughly enjoyed the easy draw, smooth sweetness, and thick smoke of my Perdomo Patriarch Maduro Robusto. I only wish I had another hour, as the burn could barely singe its ample label. It's times like this, when I'd otherwise likely be bored, that I often most enjoy the company of a relaxing stick.

Taboo Twist......I'm grateful I don't know how much I paid for this and even more grateful that I only had this one in the humi.

Gurkha Vulcan Toro - Very interesting but I couldn't pick a distinct flavor. There was a constant slight natural sweetness. It was a very tight stick and I was tempted to poke it, but resisted. Burned strangely after an inch or so, but corrected by the half way mark. Characteristic long holding ash of the brand. It was the second smoke of the day-not sure what the first crappy one was, so it might not have been a great test opportunity. Still have a few more and may try them again. Not a bad smoke, just not sure how good they are.

Berger & Argenti Entubar corona macho. Looked like a gimick to me with the big yellow caution band at the bottom and a nub sticking out. For some reason it made my wife think about the scene in Hangover II with the monkey and the asian guy.

Smoked very well though, and tasted good. Pretty neat story behind the Entubar rolling technique too. Thank you.

Default Opus X Perfecxion No. 2

I smoked one and gifted another to my father-in-law.

We both enjoyed it after a good country style steak breakfast.

An Opus is better smoked with good company.
