Vegas Robaina Clįsicos. Now a teenager, and, unlike human teenagers, very relaxing.

From what I remember, and according to my notes; the Lost City was a bit stronger and more "peppery". I liked them both very much, but enjoyed the Lost City more. YMMV

ETA: They were different vitolas. X / Robusto and LC / Lancero

Some kind of a maduro Padron. It may be a 3000, not sure, got it in a trade. All I know for sure is it is good. Enjoying a Depot Street Freight Hopper IPA with it. Very nice.

It's actually a Forbidden X and i've never been overly impressed with Forbidden X. The Lost City tastes very different than any Forbidden X I've ever smoked - a very nice spiciness to it, but not overwhelming. The same kind of spice as in an Opus, but definitely a fuller flavor. It's the first Forbidden X I'd want to smoke again (I actually afterwards smoked a Lost City Lancero - I did not want to put it down!)

Bottom line - Too complex to easily describe. I think it's hard to argue they're not in the same family, but they're definitely cousins not brothers...

Friday - Bobalu Texas Select Corona -good
Saturday - Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Natural Corona Grande - good
Sunday - Padron Family Reserve 45 Years Maduro -if you've smoked one, I don't need to tell you. If you haven't, you probably should. Worth the over $20 price? Not everyday, but, occasionally. Today, though, yes.

Does the Antillas live up to cigar of the year? I bought a box of AB, last years cigar of the year , and was not impressed. We do not have the Antillas in Ontario yet but I'm heading down to Florida come May and will hopefully get to try one.

I thought the "cigar of the year" was alright. I didn't smoke the exact vitola that did win the title, but it certainly wasn't a bad smoke by any means. I don't put a lot of stock in CA's top list, but it's always enjoyable to try new sticks, and I find sometimes it's a great list to do that exact thing. Taste after all is so subjective.

Enjoying a My Father #4 Lancero.

Cool. Did you put one of those "cigar of the year" sticks in the PIF you owe TheGreekTitan? Have you sent it yet? I'm sure you have since you said it would fly on the 27th......and you have time to post.
