Went to Atlantic City this weekend.

    08/14/2009:
    PSD #5 EL 2008

    08/15/2009:
    Illusione 68
    Redemption PC

Some lucky person in Trump would find a lovely gift of a PSD #5 in a ziplock bag. Left it at one of the progressive slot machines after I finished the Redemption PC.

    Oh well.

Started out with a Camacho Maduro but forgot about it once I started grilling lunch.

Just now finished a Camacho Triple Maduro.

CT Exodus 1959 Silver Robusto - These are kind of FLAT to me. Will not purchase again. I will stick with the Gold or the New Exodus(see below).
CT Exodus "50 Years" Liga 3-H Blend - Only available in a 5-pack sampler for now. See Review -> http://www.stogieguys.com/2009/04/st...d-salomon.html
Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sungrown Robusto - I have only had a handful of AF's and smoothness is the common factor. This sungrown is my favorite AF so far.
Oliva Serie G Maduro Churchill - My first Oliva G in a maduro. I like the naturals better probably due to the fact that I really like cameroon wrappers.

Today I had a Punch Rothschild dbl maduro, my go-to smoke when I have a hard time deciding what to smoke.
I have made it a rule never to smoke more that one cigar at a time.

Very good smoke. I will purchase these when available. The one in the sampler pack was a Perfecto - Salomon (7.25 x 57). Worth a try for sure. Very rich and smooth with no harsh bite. Not much spice to speak of. Rich flavor with lots of smoke and a great draw. Perfect burn.

I had the great opportunity to home alone today, so I thought I'd celebrate.

I've decided to concentrate my smokes in the mild-medium strength range as I'm still noob. I'm doing so in hopes to better develop my palate for flavors.

Had an H. Upmann Corona Major - first cigar I've smoked to the "nub", I enjoyed it!

For the next time, looking forward to a CAO Gold.

Just got back from walking the dog. I'm sittin here on the front porch finishing up a Tat Havana VI Nobles from a new box and boy it sure is strong. The last few I had were about a year and a half old and seem to be a good bit milder.

BTW when did these start coming in cello? There also was another sticker on the corner of the box. I forget what it said but will check later.
    Yay! Cigars!

    Monday August 17th

Esteban Carreras 10 Anos Maduro Churchill (Nicaraguan Puro. Very good. However, the robusto is much much better imho. Almost like a different smoke. I don't think I have ever noticed such a difference in the taste of the same blend in a different size)

Ashton La Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial No. 3 (My first one. Nice. Just enough spice. A mild to medium smoke to me)

    Tuesday August 18th

CAO MX2 Toro - My first MX2. WOW. Enough said.
