For sure, let me know if you're in town we'll have to go to town with some smokes.. Funny thing is that it's raining in CA right now but I have to admit that we are pretty blessed with great weather.

Had a RP Edge, flavor was nice but the draw was hard.

OK, I'll give you one try and then edit my post.

I had an Acid the other day - gross.

    Today, er, yesterday:
    Fake RyJ Churchill - disgusting
Fake Cohiba Esplendido - really disgusting
Partagas Short - such a dependable small smoke.
Padilla 1968 - my last Padilla until they stop being in bed with puff. Sorry to see it go.

    Today:

Casa Magna Robusto - Still a tight draw... pretty good when it picked up at the end
    H. Upmann robusto - Tasty cigar, great medium body flavor.
Camacho Maduro Churchill - Really good cigar, nubbed this one
Presidencia De La Republica - Great cigar aside from the slight flavoring on the wrapper. Nubbed this one

Had a C.A.O. Mx2 Dagger last night - I'd heard good things about the Mx2s, but I have to say I was dissapointed with this little thing. Smelled like the monkey house at the Zoo.

Enjoyed an El Rico Habana torpedo Friday evening. Not a very complex smoke. Nothing unusual to write home about, but very pleasant. No harshness in taste. Burned evenly throughout. Very nice.

Smoked a torano signature series robusto

I had crushed a physical training test that day and my buddy and I decided to celebrate with a smoke.

It tasted horrible, extremely bitter. I tasted so bad i don't even know how to characterize the taste. I expect that there was something wrong with this particular stick, but I don't know what. It came out of my humidor that i always smoke out of, with no other bad sticks. I had my smoking partner smoke it for a while to make sure it wasn't just my palate. It wasn't, he was taken aback too.

Anyone had a similar experience or an idea of what happened?

Logan37 - I agree 601's are great. Still a sleeper for many. I'll put the 601 Maduro up against any of R.P. Vinatge or Decade.....more pronounce flavor, rich, deep and a good value.

The new line extension Cubao is awsome too. A must try.
Lancero / No.2 / No.6 are my favorites in this line.

I am smoking the 601 Red (corona gorda). Many will say its not as complex as the other 601 blends (though thats one draw back of some Nicaragua cigars) ......... either way, for a full flavor cigar with a strong Cuban petigree, you can not go wrong.

I'm liking the Cubao's very much myself. Have yet to run across the lancero size at the local, but I'll agree the No.2 is a fine smoke.

I smoked the 601 at my local lounge last night. I liked it so much that I made my friend buy one when we were leaving and I bought a 601 blue label to try. I'll try the red label next time I'm there.

Just finished smoking a Savinelli Series Y RyR Toro - Tasty cigar, great burn, awesome draw, plenty of smoke... full of flavors with a slight sweetness, woody aroma and some others I can't put my finger on.

Bought a tin of CAO Italia Piccolos and tried one last night after they sat in the humi for a few days. Draw felt tight but I still got plenty of smoke (someone explain that to me). Unfortunately, the hot burn from the small size overpowered the classic italia flavor and it wasn't very enjoyable, a little harsh. I'm gonna let them sit for a few weeks and see what happens. As small as they are you could still make them last 40 minutes if you wanted too...I wanted them to work but it ain't looking good...

Tobacos Baez by Don Pepin Garcia.
Totally different from standard Pepin lines. This is the first time Pepin is using a Conneticut wrapper in any of his products. (though its pretty dark ). I'm liking it!
