Well pleased with the Romeo y Julieta's we smoked last night. We had Jameson's (neat) with them. Tonight after chow, we are going to expirement with the Island Collection from American Western Cigar. They are supposedly made with Carribean tobaccoes. I'm kinda of skeptical of these........

We're prepping to move to the field, so if I disappear, it is hopefully due to lack of internet instead of an early demise from these cigars.

Found the 7-20-4 Dog Walker at my local B & M, had never seen them before and thought I'd try one. Wasn't all that bad I really like it.

Last night I enjoyed a Zino Platinum Crown Barrel.

After I get out of the office I've got a La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Magnifico waiting for me.

I'll see you at the track!

Default Drew Estates Undercrown and La Gloria Cubana

Smoked a Drew Estates Undercrown Robusto about 530 this morning. Great draw and burn. That was it, though. Completely flavorless.
This afternoon, I smoked a La Gloria Cubana Artesanos Retro Especiale in the Habanero size. It was really nice all the way through until 2" from the end when the wrapper completely disintegrated. Man, was it ugly undressed. Made a huge mess in my lap, too (I drive a truck for a living). It still drew fine, though, so I nubbed it and shed a tear when it was gone...

Last night, enjoyed a couple Partagas Black Label Prontos with friends during a well-deserved Septembeerfest local microbrew festival after an intense 48 mile mountain bike tour.

Default Gurkha Warlord and Perdomo Habano

Six pack of three Floyds Gumball head wheat ale - $10
Cigars collected throughout the summer - $200
Round trip ticket to Phoenix for the wife to visit a friend, leaving me to sit on the patio every night this week smoking cigars and drinking beer unfettered - Priceless

Saturday - Gurkha Warlord in a 6"x60. A troublesome smoke. I had to touch it up constantly for not much payoff.
Sunday - Perdomo Habano Corojo Gordo. A slow starter flavor-wise, but about an inch and a half in became very pleasant and maintenance free clear to the nub.

The jury is still out for me on the 60 ring gauge. A liitle hard to handle when they get short.

    LOL

My wife works out of town often so I get a fair amount of "unfettered" time to enjoy a good cigar and love every moment of it. She knows it too and at the end of her nightly call she'll say goodbye followed by, "Now go smoke your cigar!" LOL

Luckily the weather's been great and now that I have covered and enclosed part of the deck, I can go sit out and enjoy one even if it's pouring buckets.

She was away Mon-Fri last week and during that time, and up and including yesterday, I've had the following:

    Camacho Corojo Churchill
    RyJ Churchill
    Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo
    Santa Damiana Vintage Maduro
Oliva Series V Maduro (Ligo Especial) - so good I had two one each on two different days

This is what I smoked yesterday had the Punch Double Maduro with my morning coffee while preparing the Bradley Smoker for the boneless rib roast.
    Both were fantastic.

Last night: My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo Box Press. This cigar was top notch. Tons of smoke and spice throughout. I have smoked a couple of these but in the Petite Robusto vitola, and I must say I enjoyed the Torpedo more.
