Lunch smoke today was a CT Exodus Silver Robusto Corto.

What a wonderful smoke. Felt perfect in the fingers, nice easy draw yet slow burning, lovely flavours and perfect strength for a mid-day smoke.

    Burnt today...

    JLP Cremas
    Monte Minis
    RP 1990
    Bolivar Royal Corona

Last time I torched an RP it was the 92 and I hated it (burnt rubber taste), but this 90 was pretty good.

Some kind of Gurkha a friend gave me that comes without a band so thats about all I know about it, besides the fact that it was a good smoke.

well it would have to be "yesterdays" smokes because I was too tired last night to write anything.

Yesterdays smoke was a Don Antonio churchill. I punched it. A new brand for me, wasn't overly impressed with the flavour, it got better about 2 inches in though. Very mild and unengaging.

Lol, I just realised what that was, (i thought it was a tiny corncob pipe to start with :D)
The H Upman petite corona isn't that hot in my opinion. It's fairly strong for it's size but it was too harsh. But it was one of my first so maybe now I am more experienced I will apreciate it better. *fondles humidor*

Just enjoyed a nice stick and some great music out on the back deck.

The stick - Punch Gran Puro rancho. A little harsh at the beginning, and at the end, but pure mellow goodness in between. I enjoyed it immensely.

The music - Andrew Bird's Armchair Apocrypha. Amazing album from one of the best folk/indie musicians around. I saw him in concert the other night in New York City and I was absolutely blown away. Dude can play guitar, volin, and glockenspiel all at the same time, while whistling and singing. That is virtuosity.

All in all, I had a nice early morning smoke. Now, it's off to bed (I wish).

    Ramon alones small club corona:

Nice quick smoke but nothing special, quite a lot of varied but wishy washy flavours. Strangely enough it got better roughly half way through. Nice and cheap though, probably one to walk the dog to.

Burn was hell of uneven :(

    Bolivar tubed No 3

Deceptive! First thoughts were something along the lines of ‘oh noes!’ and I was convinced that this would be weak and pathetic. The initial aroma is one of mint and very promising. The build was great, wrapper was very smooth and even had a hint of green at the edges near the cap. But once again ( I am a massive Bolivar fan) the Bolivar pulls through delivering an awesomely strong taste and significant smoking time.
