Just finished a Isla del Sol.....nice sweet start with a woody/straw finish

Enjoyed a great hand made Don Pablo Maduro tonight with my brother in law. It was a nice, sublime smoke. I'm still learning how to differentiate taste, but I know I liked it!

Had a good day...got to smoke 4 sticks. Went to the year end "Smoking Good Time" VIP Cigar Event at Morongo Casino in California:

-Rocky Patel Rosado Robusto. Didn't really enjoy it too much. It was meh to me
-Don Pablo Hand Made. I had high hopes for this one after my first one from Don Pablo. This one was hard to draw and the wrapper was splitting. Me thinks it may have gotten dried out before I got it to my humidor. It did have a good taste, however. Think I would have really enjoyed it had it not had issues...
-Arturo Fuente Sun Grown Double Chateau. VERY nice smoke. Sweet tasting.
-Ashton Cabinet #6 (I think). I don't get Ashtons...I've had 2 and think they are just ok

What an outstanding smoke while in the car keeping out of the 30 degree weather.

    Default marb vs basic

Smoked a Fuente Gran Reserve cheapo, then a Flordita blue label. The Fuente was decent enough. The Flordita was much more satisfying. Especially since its the first one I've had that was rolled decent.

    I'ld recommend avoiding both.ha

Smoked too soon. Flordita was rampant with tunnels. Avoid at all costs.

Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary. Recommended to me by the owner of my local B&M store. Nice smoke, really enjoyed it.

Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Sun Grown. Getting to be a go-to for me.

Enjoyed a San Lantano Habano that was given to me by a friend. Lots of leather flavor and a touch of spice.
