    Default Studying Abroad

Woooo! I just got accepted into my top choice of study abroad programs. I'll be living and studying in Madrid, Spain as of this coming Fall. This will be my junior year...I'm majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Spanish. Any chance there are other BOTLs on this site living in Spain, or with knowledge of the Madrid area?

Oh, and in terms of countries, Spain is the #1 importer of Cuban cigars.

Congrats man. I'm jealous... I just finished school, and I'm stuck living with my parents again
I've heard Spain is awsome though, I'm sure you'll have a great time!

What a coincidence, Spain is my #1 supplier of Cuban cigars (I suspect they export a lot of those imported cigars).

Shame you're still under US law while there and the Cuban embargo still applies.

Have a great time, it's always good to get out and see the world.

Sounds like fun. I'm studying abroad this summer in Scotland for about 6 weeks (I leave Saturday). I hope to visit Spain while I'm in Europe and if I see anything you have to visit, I'll let you know. (If your there at the same time as the bulls you should do the whole running with bulls thing, I think my cousin did it and he had fun doing it).

Sarah asked me what I was doing the other nite, I replied that I was studying abroad. She became angry.

Eh, I'll just call it 'civil disobedience' when I buy my cigars, and I'll think of myself as the next Gandhi or Thoreau.

Sounds good. Avoid bagpipe concerts on windy days.

Just make sure you use cash and not a credit card.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown
