    hello everyone,

ive been poking around the fourms a little and decided to finnaly introduce myself.

I started smoking cigars a few months ago, so im still fairly new, and am looking at finally getting my first humi.

I was looking at the "Old World" humidor from CI.com, and getting their Mild-Medium, and Full taster packs.

    Welcome from TN.

I can vouch for the Joyo De Nic Antanos. They're one of my favorite smokes...spicy and strong.

I'm not shure about shipping but what i do know from reading some threads on this site is that the taxes will kill you.. I'm also from canada and the prices online are dirt cheap compared to what we have to pay in canada.. It makes me pretty mad but what can you do..

Welcome to the board, if I was you I would spend a little more money and get a bigger humidors. That have a couple thats not much more money. Before you know it that 100 count one will be full. Good luck and smoke whatever you can get your hands on and see what you like.

wow thanks for the great resoponses everyone!

i actually got a nice Savoy humidor from my local B&M. a nice 75 count.

I wiped down the sides, and let it sit for 24 hours.

salt tested my hydrometer and found it was about -5% off (which im okay with).

and now i finally wet the humidifing element in it, and let it sit with the hydrometer in there.

how long should i wait to tell if its stable or not?

i just checked the box, and after sitting for a few hours, its resting at 70-71%
