Thread: New Humidor

    Default New Humidor

Well I broke down and purchased my first humidor. Last time I had a coolidor and it was great. The coolidor is fine for home but I need something for work. I'm a IT Manager and wanted something in my office. Since I have customer's and vendor's coming and going a coolidor just wouldn't look right. SO I went to Cheap Humidors and purchased the following:

I like the look of it being rather plain and the size. Come fall I'll start doing more things and I end up doing my shipping and receiving at work so the space is great. This ended up being a Fathers day gift to myself. Now the pee-pee dances start. First one is the wait for it to get here. Second is getting it ready. Third is filling it.

Nice, how many smokes can that thing hold?

That's exactly what I like in a humidor; simple, efficient, big. Nice choice DG.

BTW, did you try to submit an offer or just go with the price listed?

It came yesterday after I left for the day. Looks nice sitting in my office on one of my cabinets. I'm like a little kid and had it all out on the box and seasoning in 20 minutes. I'm going away all next week so it's going to get a little extra time to it's self.

I already have my first order picked out for it.

That's interesting, haven't shopped at cheaphumidors yet.....how does the offer thing work? How much below the asking price, roughly, did you propose?

Not all humidors have the option. But they only allow up too 15% off on those that they do allow it on. They have a pop-up that gives you 5% anytime you leave there site so a little more isn't a stretch for them.

    Congratulations on your purchase.

Each to his own, of course, but that box looks a little to deep for my taste. I don't like to rummage down through a foot high pile of cigars (even in boxes) to get the one I want to smoke. I'd look for something shallower. Maybe it has trays that would eliminate my own concern.

Hope you get years of enjoyment from it.

It's deep but it does have two trays which come down just short of halfway.
