Thread: cigars with best construction

    Default cigars with best construction

I was wondering what everyone's favorite cigars were in terms of construction. Nothing specific in the construction, but as a whole, which cigar(s) seem to be consistantly well constructed.

Personally, I don't know if I've smoked enough of any particular cigar to say anything with confidence, but out of the cigars I've smoked multiple times (3+) the montecristo's seem to be the best. Specificaly the white.

    What about you guys?

now i didn't think the Opus lived up to its name in taste... but the one remark i do remember making is that it was an excelently built cigar...

The Torano line is consistantly well constructed from what I have seen.

Padron 64. Had a box of Exclusivos once and had several singles as well. Every one was hard as a rock and smoked beautifully. Never been so impressed with the construction of another cigar.

Padrons... hands down built like tanks and smoke so well

    Inexpensive--Cusano Corojo 1997 line

Not so Inexpensive--Punch Gran Cru #2

I have had my fair share of each, and am giddy with delight when smoking these particular cigars. I marvel each time at the smoke produced by the Cusano, and the virgin white ash of the Gran Cru 2 as it burns so perfectly throughout.

    Just my .02...

    Cheers,

    Mark

P.S. I agree with the Padron commentary as well.

    Padron and Perdomo.

IMO the Perdomo ESV and Silvio's are one of, if not the, best constructed cigars on the market.

Not the best tasting, just the best made.
