I have and have used the Q for about 6 months now. It's a nice phone, great reception, I think the processor could be a bit faster but pretty uer friendly. The only downside I have with it is the fact that there is no stylus. So you have to get used to that.

The blackberry...well...that is another world. It uses it's own software has that "always" on connection to constantly check emails, messages and is the most secure smartphone out there.

I would say it depends if you are going with the full unlimited data plans or if you are going with a minimal use data plan.

I would play with both at a verizon store as much as possible. Interface I think is the deciding factor. Also the blackberries seem to be real picky about connecting to a PC sometimes. Moto Q's go through activesync just like the v50
