Hi,

While on holiday recently i bought some very nice h upmann cigars and some of another far cheaper brand known as la fama. I found these cheaper ones to be quite nice for the price but my research into them on the web is turning up blanks. There is very little info on the box apart from the name and a stamp on the underside which says CITA Republica Dominica. Now from what i understand CITA is a Canary Island company, and Republica Dominica is obviously the Dominican Republic. So where exactly are these cigars made, are they Dominican or Canary Island cigars. Anyone who has a bit of knowledge on the industry and who can shed some light on this, your insight would be most welcome.
