Just wanted some input on Mexican Smokes. Why the bad rap(No Pun intended) all the time? I really like the Santa Clara 1830 line from the San Andres valley of Mexico. Any thoughts?

The Silent Type
Not too sure why Mexican cigars get all the bad reviews but I can tell you my wife claims they stink. I personally like a smoke with a little mex in the stick but she will inevitably claim that "that cigar stinks!" If I light a Te Amo or a Aroma de San Adreas I usually do it outside or at the B&M, just to please her nose.
