I've been debating the chisel. Worth a smoke???

Yes, imho. I like the chiselito for a lunch or short afternoon smoke.

I've smoked a few of those as well. Good but very strong, definitely an after-dinner stick!

I can't figure out why people think it's strong. I can smoke those on an empty stomach and be ready for another as soon as I'm finished. Ligero even means "light" in Spanish.

Interesting, The description of the Double Ligero form the La Flor Dominica homepage says that they are intended to be strong smokes (they give them a 10 on their scale) and should be after-meal smokes. I think this is an example of how we each percieve the strength and flavor of cigars differently.

Personally I've only smoked the maduro version of this cigar. I've also had a few of the Ligero L 300 and 400 in both nat and maduro and found them to be quite good but also med-full bodied.

This reminds me that I've been intending to get a few of these for the 'ol humidor!
