gurkha symphonies

look i know i am new here but i bought some Gurkha symphonies last month from CI and really hate them the draw is good , tons of smoke , but no taste what so ever .. so here i sit with 15 more just taking up room in my already to small humidor. has anyone else had the same problem ?? and what about aging ??

Gurkhas suck and are sold only because of marketing gimmicks. Don't buy any more in the future.

I wouldn't say they suck, but their msrp and marketing is a joke.

Napalese Warrior and Ancient Warrior are the only Gurkhas for me.

I don't think they suck either, and if you pay MSRP for them you haven't shopped around very much as they are almost always on "sale" or are a "special" somewhere........and CBID usually has several different varieties that you can pick up pretty cheaply.

lol... i don't think i paid to much for them. last night i had one and i swear the curly head the night before was the finest smoke in the world compared to it ...lol

What I noticed about Gurkhas. Let them age in your humi for at least a month. You may find a different cigar by that time. Like a caterpillar, it will morph into a beautiful butterfly (well that sounded ghey). In the case of the cigar, it'll just have more flavor. I had the same experience with Gurkha Legend, and now I like it.

BTW, Class Regent, Nepalese Warrior, Connecticut, and Legend are all exceptional cigars..............but not for the retail price. So, look for deals. They are worth the cigar, if you pay way less than retail.

Potential "good" (and that's a relative term, especially with Gurkhas) deals aside, I still have yet to smoke a Gurkha that I thought was great. For the price, there are tons of other cigars out there that I'd rather have.
