Got my package in from Midwest today. Going to attempt to clone my favorite summertime brew, Sam Adams Blackberry Wit.

1x Case - Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout

First time trying this one. Looking forward to it, as I've heard a few good things about it.
    Yay! Cigars!

Very nice. That said, I'm going to throw a bomber of Stone Russian Imperial in the fridge tonight.

Hmm, Old Rasputin was good......just not sure if it goes with cigars that well. I had several bottles of it over the weekend with several different cigars; the beer always seemed to overpower the cigars way too much.
    Yay! Cigars!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of enjoying:

10 Barrel Seasonal Release Oregon Brown Ale

    Brown Ale, yet extraordinarily hoppy.

Founders ~ Centennial IPA (expect to see this listed as my drink often as CC lists Davidoffs in today's smokes)

    Smuttynose ~ Robust Porter

After an arduous battle with my tap system tonight, I was rewarded with this smoky sweet and toothy delightful beer.

My Blackberry Wit clone turned out exceptional. The big festivals (Oktoberfest and Volksfest) have been going on for the past 3 weeks, so I have ben filling myself with amazing fest beer. In the past 2 weekends I have consumed 16 liters of the stuff, plus or minus a couple due to the fuzzy memories. Going back tomorrow night for another 3 at least.

    Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
A bit pricey for 4 bottles, but worth every penny.
Nice hint of vanilla and kentucky bourbon

For some reason it's hovering in the 50's here in Ohio in January!? Had a Shiner spring beer at the bbq joint, I may like it better than the original Shiner Bock. Later had some Celebrator Double Bocks. My wife says it's the a1 sauce of beer, I just think its tasty.

You should check out Shiftkey Brewery. They make a fantastic IPA. Do you like cigars?

I've been drinking a lot of Corona lately. A friend moved back and had a case laying around that she gave me. Those sneaky Mexicans slipped a bottle of Corona light in one of the packs though.

Shiftkey huh?...I'll have to look into them.

I just started smoking cigars about 3 weeks ago...Enjoying the hobby so far. I'm kinda spoiled cuz the house I just bought has a wine/cigar room already built...I'm very fortunate. The previous owner dropped some coin on it it looks like.
