  1. Default Introduction

Hey guys. I'm new to the board. My name is Jared. I've neen lurking for a few days while my account was pending approval and it seems like you guys have some great discussions about cigars. I am from Philadelphia, but I am currently a senior at George Washington University in Washington, DC where I study Marketing. Over the past few years I've become very fond of cigars. I am not an everyday smoker, but a bit more of an occasional one. Sometimes I'll smoke 5 in a week and other times I may go 2 weeks or even a little bit more without one. But I'm clearly interested enough to seek out a forum for advise and discussion about them. I smoke medium to full bodied cigars mostly. I did go to the cigar shop yesterday and picked up a few that I have not tried yet. I'll be smoking a few of them tomorrow at the Borgata in AC for a little poker trip! So, I'll share my newest additions to the humidor.

    Saint Luis Rey Serie G
    CAO America
    La Gloria Cubana RF Maduro
    Camacho Coyolar Puro

These all smell delicious. Now, tomorrow is going to be a 2 cigar day. So I'm very open to suggestions regarding which one to have A) on the way to Atlantic City and B) during my poker break. Any ideas?

Welcome to the board, it's a great place to learn.

GL at the Borgata tomorrow. I've had quite a few cigars on the way up and back from AC.

    Welcome to the Boards!

Good luck at the Borgata as wel. We made a trip out to AC when I was in Philly for work last month and we hit up the Borgata. I really liked it, its an awesome casino.

Thanks! Yeah the Borgata is a great casino. I think even in Vegas it could hold its own. It's a beautiful classy casino which was the first of its kind in Atlantic City. I still like to visit some of the dives like Ballys and Hilton every now and then just for the fun of it. Problem is you gotta make sure you're well loaded with some good stogies because the prices at the casinos are literally 3x normal retail.

I'm more of a Tropicana poker player. Borgata is great, but it's usually easy money in the Trop. Welcome from VA!

Pink game or goml! That's the easiest game in AC. I agree with you there. It's just that my buddy has his sights on an Omaha 8 game and there's no action for that at the Trop.
