Hello all! My name is John and I'm in El Dorado Hills, California (near Sacramento).
I'm a 38 year old full time single dad of three (2 girls 12 and 13 and a boy, 8) I'm a retired (injured) patrol car pushing, ground pounding, trainee shaping police officer who currently works as a recruiter/headhunter for a startup international internet based Real Estate company (pm me if you're curious).
I've been smoking cigars since the boom very first started in the early 90's and have two very well stocked 100+ humidors and a penchant for collecting lighters! For some reason, even though I have plenty of sticks at my disposal, I just can't seem to keep myself from heading over to my local shrine and shelling out 20-30 bucks for a couple of new sticks!
I'm on the verge of buying a large display cabinet style humidor and a couple of those stinkin Dupont collectible lighters. I'm not sure why, other than the fact that I'm an impulsive fool! If any of you have one to offload, pm me! :)
I'm a progressive independent conservative, an involved dad, avid Sacramento Kings, Indy Colts and SF Giants (sans Beroid Bonds) fan. I do politically incorrect things like drive a large V8 powered truck, a large V8 powered car, participate in shooting sports, hunt , fish and smoke in my truck. I have no siblings and generally either smoke alone while sitting in my hot tub, or with my cousin, who is my surrogate brother, as I have no siblings of my own. (I'll be telling him about this forum tonight) My girls enjoy the smell of cigars but I don't overdo it, keeping my habit limited to about 3-5 per week.
Ideally, I'll find myself a new woman who enjoys the smell of cigars and can put up with my grown up adolescence!
