Just returned from sunny Havana where I attended the Partagas anniversary dinner and smoked....too many great cigars:-)

In fact I only smoked custom blends by various roller over the whole weekend and they did not disappoint:-) Custom blended Havanas are not like commercial production cigars in so far as their taste and flavour characteristics are unique and an interpretation by the roller of how he believes the cigar should be blended.These cigars typically have a cool and easy draw and wonderful dark wrappers.

I smoked excellent "Rodolfo" sized cigars rolled by Yolanda at The Robaina shop and Florentino at Villa Conde de Nueva...both highly recommended but my favourites are still my Taboadas which are in a class of their own.
