Pass / Review These

ChefChris and I worked out this little pass, that is really based off the Review These thread. Its not meant to replace that thread, but rather to expand a little on the premise. Here are the rules:

Must be a member in good standing with 100 posts or a trading history that is vouched for by an established member.

Pass starts with 10 unbanded sticks, in pairs of one higher $ stick and one lower $ stick ( like blind review).

Higher $ stick must be $6 and up
Lower $ stick must be $2 - $4

Sticks will be numbered 1 - 10 and only I will know the identity of the sticks.

When the pass gets to you, you will take two sticks of your choice and replace them with two unbanded sticks, with the same criteria as the original sticks for $, number them sequentially on the pass sheet, and PM me with the identity and # of the sticks you put. Post the # of the sticks you take in this thread.

You then review your two sticks and guess which is higher and which is lower....or if they are both lower $ or higher $ sticks. I will start a thread in the review section specifically for the reviews and guesses once the pass starts.

Every one gets a Chef Chris sig tag appropriate to their "performance".

When the pass gets back to me and all sticks have been reviewed I will randomly draw one of the pass participants and bomb them with the cigars.

Sign up runs from now through January 15, 2008 and the pass will be mailed out January 22nd.

I think this will be fun, with the added possibility of picking two $$ or two $ sticks or one of each.......it should be challenging as well. I hope a lot of you think the same and join right up!!!!

I'd be into it but the holdays have me screwed up for time and money. I am in the middle of some crazy medical garbage that has me running around like a chicken with his head cut off lately. Been going on for the past few months. I wouldn't want it to cause me to fall through on any commitments.. It is a damn good idea though. C'mon anyone who can really should get involved. If things happen to change by the deadline I'll try to get in.

O.K......was hoping to get at least 10 participants for this, we're 4 short right now. I'll leave it to the participants already signed up whether to extend the sign up for a week or two or start the pass right now as is.

I want this to be a fun and inclusive pass.......I put the post count / vouch restriction in because there will be no opportunity for the pass participants as a whole to review each members p/t's and really no way to "guarantee" what is pm'd to me is what is actually put in the pass.

Remember, there is a chance, a 1 - 10 chance if we get a full sign up, that you will be receiving a great mix of sticks when the pass is over.....according to the rules the value of the smokes "bombed" at the end would be a minimum of $40.........not bad imho!!

I'm in for waitin a few more weeks. If we keep it open I'm sure a few more folks will sign up. Maybe we can send some IMs to some of the Vets out there and see if they are into it.
