Welcome from VA (soon to be W. VA). It seems you are off to a good start with the smokes you listed.

    Default Welcome

Welcome from another new member. If you ever get down to Hilton Head Island stop in the store. Island Cigars, Village at Wexford. I would be happy to introduce you to many different brands.

Thanks...I usually stop by Hilton Head in the summer so I'll have to let ya know when I'm down there....

Right now I've only been digging into the CAO lines for tha most part...just had a CAO Extreme, which was pretty bad....

Up next is a CAO Vision and a Gurkha G5 Avenger - heard good things from both! Want to try a CAO America, but my shop keeps going out of stock....the Sancho Panza ChefChris mentioned was also out of stock...

Keep the suggestions coming though...this is a great community!

Welcome from CA. And Sancho Panza's are a great bang for the buck.

Thanks Mr. SoCal....I haven't heard any bad comments about the Sancho Panza's yet so I'm def. anticipating getting ahold of one...

Also, just tried my CAO Vision and thought it was great. Had a mild creamy taste at first, then had a leathery tingle....the box they had in the humidor was kickass too!

Still having trouble picking up flavors...I mostly either get a mild sensation (RyJ) or spicy (H. Upmann)...I'm sure my taste buds will develope a little more!

I'll be saving my Gurkha for Super Bowl Sunday....

Welcome from North Myrtle. The law makers up there in Columbia are supposed to be considering repealling all the of city smoking bans in SC.

Don't really mind a smoking ban since I only smoke in my house or with friends, but if enough people feel its there right to light up some tobacco in public (which partly made this country rich in the first place) then they should fight for it...BTW, I stay at Surfside during every summer once in awhile...nice to meet ya...

I couldn't control myself and got into my Gurkha early...found it to be simular to the CAO Mx2....deep, but not much there in terms of flavor...I was expecting a little more of something. Looks like I gotta go back into town and pick up a couple CAO Sopranos before tha big game tomorrow!

Welcome to the board. For the same price as those Sopranos, you can have an Ashton VSG that is a much better smoke IMHO.

Thanks...I'll try giving an Ashton a try some time...

Thanks Basil...and I'll be sure to check out the scores of the Lady Raiders soccer team in the local paper when the season starts!

Oh, and I recently tried a few more cigars...

CAO Belle Vanilla (Great vanilla taste...something I can see buying a box of...)
CAO Moonlight (Kinda like the Belle Vanilla, but the taste was pretty bad...)
Diablo Picante (Very robust, spicy blend. Might get these again every once in awhile...)
Sancho Panze (Nice thick taste that leaves ya wanting more...)

I'm also getting 30 smokes from Spiffy via the Newbie Sampler...can't wait to get those! (Thanks again, man!)

welcome from central ohio, i highly recomend the America, its a great cigar with a very smooth and thick flavor. Besides you feel like a BA smoking a huge America with a oversize patriotic band on it.

    Thansk for the welcomes...

Bigwhiteash - Thanks for letting me know about the deal...I got em' and have smoked one at least once a day....might get the Gran Fuego if their still on sale...

Heres' Johnny - Those America's are really badass...so far I've picked up two Anthems, which costs a pretty penny.....might trip down to the Landmark size from now on...
