    Default Aquisitions this past week

This, beyond any shadow of a doubt, has been my finest week of cigar acquisitions.

    We have:

    Foreground, left to right:
    • The results of 3 Birthday Bombs
    • A 5er of Trinidad Maduro Toros
    • A 5er of Trinidad Maduro Torpedos

    Center Stage, left to right:
    • A 5er of RP 1990 Torpedos
    • A 5er of Padron 3000s
    • A 5er of RP Edge Perfectos
    • An Oliva ashtray (came with the box of smokes above it)
    • 19 VSG Illusions
    • 2 5ers of CT Virtuoso Crescendos
    • A bundle of Indian Tabac Robustos, 10 Maduro and 10 Natural (not the best smoke, but well worth the $29 price tag)

    Background, left to right:
    • A bundle of El Mejor Espresso consisting of 5 each of Robusto, Toro, Torpedo and Churchill
    • Box of 36 Oliva Ser "V" Lanceros
    • Box of 10 LFD Double Ligero Chisels

I'm also waiting on 10 Joya de Nicaruaga Antano Consuls and another 18 Oliva "V" Lanceros.

Me thinks I've pretty well blown my cigar budget for a while.

Those are apparently very hard to get. I got 'em at the CI Superstore and it was the very last box of Oliva V in the store (in ANY vitola). Guy said they just can't get 'em any more.

Nice haul. Try one Cresendo a month and see how much better they get with several months on them. Had one of those V lanceros when they came out and it was sorta mild. Gonna have another tonight. The V's I've had seem to be aging well. Early on they had a predominant nut flavor and lately they have taken a turn for the spice. Totally different cigar.

Jim, happy belated birthday! Awesome pick ups! Yopu may need to cross the boarder and hit up Wally World for a new cooler.

Dayum Jim. Happy belated birthday. That would blow my cigar budget for at least 6 months. The Oliva V's and the VSG's look tasty.

Do you have any problems bringing that back across the boarder?

I know those Cresendos are excellent. IIRC the very first purchase I made on this board was a 1/2 box or more of these, from Da Sarge!!

I had 1 "v" Lancero before I bought the box. I smoked it on a somewhat empty stomach and it nearly kicked my butt. I enjoy strong cigars but would hardly consider this one mild!!
