Cars....

Just wondering if anyone is "into" cars... my dad and I have a bunch, I'm going to college for automotive in Feb.

We have:
71 Chevelle convertable
72 Chevelle coupe
73 Duster
87 Iroc-Z

then our regular cars, I drive a '01 Diamond Edition Jimmy, my dad drives a 03 Silverado, my mom drive a Kia Sorenro

shes the outcast of the family lol

My list of cars over the years is way to long to get into here (63 Impala convertible, two 1970 Cadillac Convertibles, a '72 Fleetwood limousine, etc) but for the past six years, I've been interested in Jaguars. This is a 1986 XJ6 that I show in Jaguar club "concours" or car shows.

I also have an '87 XJ6 and a '92 XJ6. My daily driver is an '87 Buick Park Avenue with 295,000 miles and I also have a 1979 BMW 733i. My brother and I have a 1978 Chevy K20 (3/4 4WD pick up). I'm also "into" license plates and have a "special" plate on every one of those vehicles (I'm a member of ALPCA )

my first car was a 1969 cutlass, thing was a beast, then from there 96 beretta, now a 87 ford crown vic which i love, only had it for about 3 weeks

my first car was a 91 Plymouth Acclaim... but the first car I drove the day I got my license was the Chevelle, drove it to the Summer Nationals alone haha good time

it took me a while to get the balls to do this though.. haha

it's only a 350

but it still gets the job done, got a ton of looks rolling up to prom in it friday night haha, 454 is going into whichever car i can blow the motor in first (the 71 or 72) the Duster has a 318, thats just a beater, plan on doing burnouts at the summer nationals until it explodes haha

god I wish I didn't post this thread... haha I blew the transmission in my GMC Jimmy yesterday

and I wasn't even doing burnouts :-/ I was backing up in a bank parking lot haha

My Father has a '00 Mercedes ML 55 AMG. It weighs in at 5000 lbs, not including me, and I did a 14 second 1/4 mile at the track. And it can carry 5 people and all their stuff!

I drive a 1990 Toyota pickup everyday. Then my Avatar is of my 85 4Runner I have modified for off roading. I also have a 94 Mustang GT I have been working on for a number of years. Last year it was doing 14.35 on the 1/4 mile. I have added some Bassani Headers, MSD ingnition and a 10 pound supercharger pulley instead of a 9 pound. Reprogram the chip and hopefully I can bring it into the 13's. I also have a stereo weighing me down that I am lightening up this year. Some 6 piston Bear brakes are going in right now too although that won't help my 1/4mile time

well my daily driver is now the '87 Iroc, 350 5.7 Tuned Port.... after blowing the tranny in a SUV... now they let me drive THIS. What are they thinking haha, I said I'd fix it up as I drove it though so maybe they can sell it, if I don't break it first.

Actually, CC - it was posted by me on CigarSnobs back in January as a slap to MattR - very similar to Alfred's post... Around the time Alfred was a member at Snobs as well... Hhhhmmmmmmm... A coincidence???
