Default Houston (Sugar Land?) Mid June 2008

Looks like I will be in Houston, most likely Sugar Land sometime after June 16. From the sounds of it I should be in town for 5 days on business. What are the smoking laws like there? Any decent shops to hit up? Is anyone in the area interested in meeting up for a smoke?

I will know more details regarding firm dates and my schedule in the coming months, but would just like to throw this out there now.

Yep I work there one or two days per month, and buy almost all of my smokes there. We have a free lounge with leather chairs and a big TV with Dish TV. Usually there are some regulars there drinking, smoking, watching sports and having a ball (it's BYOB).

Also, the Pappas Steakhouse on US 59 just north of us (on the outbound side)has a bar in which you can smoke, and they serve food in the bar as well as the dining area. Excellent steakhouse.

Then there is also Hooters, on the inbound side of US 59 - they allow cigars smoking and have TV's all over the place.

That's the only places I know of that allow smoking around here, they are all in Stafford. Sugar Land recently passed a very strict no smoking ordinance.

Let me know if you need any more information. And hopefully we can meet up!

I'm up for a herf, the Pappas steakhouse would be a great place to meet, if we want fine dining, or if we want a budget (and some real HOTTIES) we could go over to Hooters.
