I really don't see why everyone hates cops, I'm 18 and have nothing against them, and I'm in the age range where most of my friends hate them.... My girlfriend and best friend have both been pulled over and got off with warnings, my other friend and I have been pulled over for "yelling" out of a window... but no tickets or anything, as long as you aren't a prick and didn't do anything huge theres nothing to worry about. I do know of a few people who have gotten screwed for pretty bs things, but I guess cops are people too, they have bad days

After many PMs and emails and posts I have come to a conclusion. As a Law Enforcement Officer I am often misunderstood, abused, and called names. Only another brother in blue would understand what we face from day to day. It is a position many of you would not wish to undertake.

Police Officers are family. We stick together no matter what. We socialize together, eat together, laugh together, and fight and bleed together. When one is insulted we all are insulted.

Scott, at first I tried to laugh it off. I got PMs and emails from folks in Law Enforcement and some that were not that were offended by the "pig" remark. The more I thought about it the more I realized you really screwed up. Joking with me in private is one thing. Making a comment on a public board is another.

Scott, an apology is in order.
