    Default Greetings

I have been reading the board for a few weeks now and have finally decided to join in the fun and start posting. While I have enjoyed cigars for many years, I have just recently started keeping them as a hobby. My wife got me a nice little setup for valentine's day, a 100 count humidor with a digital and an analog hygrometer with some 65% heartfelt beads. We live in northern Kentucky/ Cincinnati area and are lucky enough to have several good B&M's in the area, so I have been grabbing about twelve different sticks a week and seeing what I really enjoy the most to stock up on. I'm hoping to get some advice from everyone on what would be some good sticks to try and have a little fun as well.

Welcome from MT- sounds like you got a pretty great wife!
Also, you might want to shorten your location a bit. It makes it a bit of a PITA trying to read your posts!

Welcome from Kansas........I'll second the newbie sampler for a great way to get a variety of smokes at very reasonable cost.

Yeah, sorry about that. I was using my laptop instead of my PC last night and my wireless connection wasn't so hot, it kept maxing out the bar every time I tried to submit my post and telling me it hadn't gone. Needless to say it had gone three times before I caught it. I apologize for the clones.

Hey Consigliere what's up? Not sure if you have ever been to the Beer Cellar down at Newport Next to the Hooters or not. Tuesday nights they have a cigar tasting from like 5:30 -7:30. It's put on buy The Party Source. In the summer it is over at the Party Source. I haven't been in about a year but have been trying to make it there the last month. You get 3 pretty good cigars for $10 and hang out with a bar full of cigar lovers. I meet the president from Puros Indios and the head guy form Camacho in the states, he even gave me a cigar mold they had used. It's a fun time, you can win some nice prizes too

Welcome to the boards. I went to Miami and know the Cincy/Covington area fairly well. Beautiful horse farms down there

I haven't been to the beer cellar yet, but Party Source is where I get most of my cigars actually. It is fairly close to our house, and Carroll down at Party Source is an amazing guy just to stand around and chat with. I am a Cigar Club member, just haven't been able to get to any of the events, I work second shift and I'm never off on Tuesdays unfortunately. But there are always personal days to be taken. Thank you everyone for the kind welcomes as well.
