    Default Oliva V, Rushed It?

Local B&M got V's in last week. Torps got snatched up the first day. Had a double robusto and it fell pretty flat. When they first came out, they had a very nutty flavor. Later they developed good spice and it was the dominant flavor. This one had neither. Maybe they need some age. Hope they didn't fudge the blend to try to meet demand.

I have a lancero that I'm anxiously holding out on....

been reading nothing but good on the V's though. I hope they wouldn't mess with a good thing like that

I hope not either. I had one about a month ago that was incredible.

So let's hope it was a dud.

I had a lancero before the whole damn box sold out (in less than 24 hours). It was fantastic. I can't wait to get more, will buy a whole box if I can.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

    Ok..

The Serie V Lancero met with it's fiery doom this evening
I will definately be on the lookout for more of these, It was a very enjoyable smoke, down to the tip of my fingers!
Perfect draw, only very minor burn issue that never needed help. Nice rich, spicy flavor, mild nicotine kick. Everything I could ask for.

I sure hope it was just a dud that you got, pub

I have a few Serie V in my humidor that I have been hanging on to for a little bit. Ive been saving up some of what I think are the better cigars for warmer weather so I can fully enjoy them. Lets just hope it can get warm soon because they may not make it. I have them sitting dead center on top shelf of my humi so everytime I open it they are looking right at me begging to be smoked.

Just had a Serie V Torp the other day and it was good to go . It seemed to be fairly consistent with the Serie V's that I smoked when they first came out. Hope Oliva can keep it up.
