Just a heads up guys, some of the fellow BOTL's have been taking a look at this fellow's cigars over at stogie chat.

Boy they gave him a grilling didn't they...lol.

a lot of unanswered questions and the answers he did give were vague and didn't make a whole lot of sense.

Thanks for the info Hex...I'm usually never tempted to buy from any of these posters anyway, but it was an entertaining thread to read.

It was rather amusing, I was looking over the logs this morning and I was like, "why do we have 15 referals from stogiechat"?, So I tracked it back to that thread..

BTW, we are up to ~300 session a day and are listed in the top 10 google search for "cigar"

LMAO!! You oughta see the fun REALLY start when one of these guys shows up at CigarPass While the flaming can be fun, the poor unsuspecting soul usually doesn't realize he's doing anything wrong by joining a cigar board and trying to offer Cuban cigars on his first post. I generally leave these guys be but others don't. I save my flame thrower for guys like Scotty who've proven they deserve it time and time again

Now granted, there's an outside chance guys like this are selling REAL cigars but not very likely. Rather than raking them over the coals, we now usually just say:
"Since no one here knows you or anything about you, you're going to have to send your end of the deal FIRST, have one of our more experienced members here analyze the cigars and if he says they're real, he'll send you the money. I'm sure you understand why it has to be this way."

    That usually shuts them up

Also, they're usually hawking the Cuban brands I don't like anyway (RyJ, Monte, Cohiba, HdM) so I'm not even tempted to begin with.

Except in the case of Vitasea...

LMAO, I didn't opt in for that one because they were Cohibas which I don't like as much as others even when they're REAL which Vitasea's were not

Actually not "refined" if anything the Cohiba nuts look down their noses at me because I don't really like them.

    My favorite Cuban cigars are:
    Saint Luis Rey
    Ramon Allones
    San Cristobal de la Habana
    Vegas Robaina
    Quai d' Orsay
    Punch
    H. Upmann

    Honoralbe mention to:
    Sancho Panza
    Rafael Gonzales
    Juan Lopez

pretty much in that order. I also like the Quinteros which are HAND MADE short filler, NOT machine made like some dopes (ie. on stogiechat) like to tell you.
