I don't believe Montreal lost again! They better turn this around.

At least the Sharks avoided the sweep and live to skate another day.

I agree, Fucking amazing hockey. An understandable end to a wonderful series. They laid it all on the line.

According to my notes we only have to members still in. PropheticJoe with Pittsburgh and JFellows with Detroit. Good luck guys. If neither win we will figure somethin out to do with the cigars.

I was under the impression that Prophetic and myself were already locked in for either 1st or 2nd place, since there are no other members here left in play. I'm almost certain both the Pens and the Wings will make it to the championship, but if that's not the case then whichever of us gets farther should take 1st place.

Dallas played better tonight. They were still tentative though, with the puck in their end a lot. Tippet looked surprised to even be there. Detroit may be the better team, but they got the hoodoo on Dallas too - if Dallas can get past that they'll give the Wings a better game.

I'm not concerned at all the Pens are gonna win. Heh. Nah I agree with Fellows but it's not my contest so I'll wait it out and see what happens.

I was thinking that if either one went farther than the other they would take first and the other would take second. If both of of you got knocked out now than we could either call it a tie and split the winnings down the middle or I could do some sort of raffle to pick which one of you was winner and runner up. If it comes to that I will let you two decide how you want to work it out.

I think Prophetic and I should just settle this like professionals.

The way things look now, both Detroit and Pens have a good chance of meeting in the finals. Personally I hope neither make it to the finals.

Stars don't drop gloves, stars get into the scrums and then get bailed out by enforcers.

ahh - the thinnest ray of hope.

Ok, I'm not in the contest, but the only other sports I make a point to watch on TV is NCAA football championship, parts of superbowl (maybe), and definitely soccer (the European League championship next Wednesday). Hockey is an awesome spectator sport and I've been following it since the Stars won the Cup in '99. This is the only hockey thread going and thanks for letting me comment here.
