    Default The Dark Side...

    So, we've heard about members' choices when it comes to what they think is the best cigar in the world....What about the other end of the scale?

    What would be your all time worst cigar in the world? Which cigars in your opinion should be avoided at all costs?

    Well my friend its really all a matter of trial and error and taste. I have had cigars that were rated high in magazines but tasted like crap to me. I have had 10 dollar cigars that were nasty and 1 dollar cigars that were awesome. So its really hard to tell.

    Definitely some cigars I bought in Ybor City, Florida back in the boom days...they were a Don Nobody in a box where the glue used to hold it together (bad enough on its own) flavored the cigars. Which were rolled by poorly trained clams, judging by the quality. Those were some dark days for bad cigars. Haven't had anything terrible lately.

    During the boom I smoked something called Alkazar. It was supposed to be a maduro. Come to find out the tobacco was dyed. It turned my lips and teeth black when the dye became moist. Tasted like pure crap.

    I was never impressed with any Macanudo I've ever tried. Maybe it's just a matter of my personal taste.
