My mother-in-law had it done and she had the same experience. The recovery pain and PT was more than worth it once it was all done and said. The daily pain and discomfort of the failed hip was far worse. Also, all the related problems, knee pain, back pain, the limping and other effects on her walking all went away. She had this done a couple of years ago and gets around now better than she had for years. She is a big fan of the procedure.
