Bead Storage Suggestions

Ok, I was looking for some ideas on how to store my beads in my trunk without them taking up alot of room. I'll have some pictures up tonite so you can see how they are already. they're sitting in panty hose and tupperware bowls.

i thought about buying a large humidifier casing and strapping it to the top or buying some of these ...

seems like i could just drill some holes in there and be set. i have a pound of beads in there, so it might take a good many of these suckers.

i also thought about using a cigar box that I already have that is long and slender and putting the beads in there. i guess it's hard to imagine without pictures, but i'll get some up in a couple of hours.

I beleive those coin sleves might crack when you take a drill to them (depends on hardness). I would just grab a few pantyhose from your nearest female and use them.

Going with the tube theme, you could probably rig something up with PVC pipes... you can drill into it no problem if those things crack, plus you can get it in any possible size and shape you want.

I'd just stick with the panty hose deal. I bought some of the little bags from heartfelt that hold 1/2 lb of beads. I only used 2 shot glasses full of beads for my trunk(fills it about half way) and it holds around 66% with about 180 smokes in it. How much beads you have in thier? If you want it to look neat I would use a humidifier pad and break it open and put the beads in and reseal it

Have you thought about using a cigar box that is long and slender? You probably already have one of those.

use a can of coors with drill holes and wrap in pantyhose.

ok i got an idea thats a little out there; keep in mind i've never used beads so this may not work... Go look at COMB2's trunkador thread, the way his shelf fits in there... what if you made a shelf like that at the very top of the trunk except instead of slotted wood, you use window screen with maybe a wooden latice support. You could put the beads in a thin layer between two pieces of screen all the way across the top of the trunk... not sure if thats practicle, but seems cool.

Yea I just lay my bag of beads on the tray at the top of the trunk and let the moisture far onto the smokes
