There are many questions that would determine the thickness of the wood for a humi. Most cabinetry uses 1/2" to 5/8" plywood. 3/4" would be way overboard.
What style/size box do you want to make?
What are you making it out of?
Are you going to laminate it?
Personally, for a large box style humidor, 3/8" to 1/2" plywood, laminated with something nice looking, sealed with a few coats of polyurethane, and lined with 1/4" Spanish cedar would work great.
If you need any help or have questions feel free to PM me.

ok i can get the 1/4" spanish cedar and get the plywood. where should i get the laminate? i was thinking about a 150ct humi, but not sure what style. i've never made a humidor before so i'll need some guidance
If you have a local lumber store (not home depot), they would either have it or can order it for you. The internet is a great source as well.
www.rockler.com is where I get a lot of my stuff.
If this is your first time trying to laminate something, then you might be better off using a cabinet grade plywood and skipping the laminate all together. These have a nice layer on top that you can stain and comes in a lot of species (birch, cherry, oak, etc.).
PM me and I can help you plan one out.
