Hello all,
Just got myself a Humidor today and im in need of some help and advice.
Got it all set up but now ive got to cure it but dont know exactly how to do that also i have seen some topics on some kind of beads that replace the foam stuff should i get them?
Any other helpful comments are more then welcome.
The Herfers Guide to setting up a Humidor - This is a great guide to follow for seasoning a humi. I used it on my first one a few months ago.
As for the beads, most everyone will recomend them. Including me, even though I fail at having enough paitence to let them do their job before getting worked up. :smiley3:
Yep, that's a fantastic link for seasoning a humidor, follow its instructions and you should have little problem. Take a cue from Mizicke and realize up front that things happen slooooowly and you should be fine.Quote:

thanks for the link to the great guide, get started on my humidor tommorow when i get some distilled water.
Also that sample thing would be great apart from im in england so may be a bit to much hassle.

Thank you for the intro. Glad to hear you've moved away from the gas station smokes. Hupman is a nice smoke with many variations in their line. The vintage cameroon is one of my favorite non-isom Upmann's. Welcome to the board, you will find lots of help here.Quote:
