Potential "good" (and that's a relative term, especially with Gurkhas) deals aside, I still have yet to smoke a Gurkha that I thought was great. For the price, there are tons of other cigars out there that I'd rather have.

Do you like mild cigars? Because if you went straight from smoking heavier more full bodied cigars to a symphony, you probably wouldn't see a lot of flavor in it.

Do you find this cigar has less flavors than other mild cigars (like 5 Vegas Gold)?

My guess is this is not anything unique to the Symphony, but is more about mild cigars.

Actually, I have not. I really appreciate the offer, but I'm still out of the country. On your recommendation I guess I'll give one of those a shot once I get back in.

Symphony is supposedly Kaizad's favorite cigar. Hmmm. Although my experience is very limited, I didn't find it to be exceptionally good. In fairness, it wasn't 'bad' either - just another cigar. IMO, the Legend series and the Warriors are pretty good smokes, but I haven't tried every Gurkha model ever devised.

I think JFellows has it generally right. The line doesn't seem to live up to the marketing.

well tried another one yesterday at the coffee shop by my house. this one had a little bit darker color to it. Little more flavor to it or it may have been the kona blend i was drinking at the time. this one was better more flavor, lots of smoke burned good but it was nothing to the la Gloria cubana series r #6 had it in bed last night man i have found a new love in my life...lol burned perfect, the taste was full of spice with a small hint of sweet, the smoke was like a white cloud just sorta hung in the air it was sad to finally put it down ...... only back draw to this smoke is the big ring size a little un comfortable at first . but to this new guy it was amazing

    thanks Dustin
