I've seen over stock boxes of cigars, not in a humi, on their floors before. Didn't buy them.
Make sure they have a hygrometer in that humi so you don't end up with a brittle dryed out cigar.

Interesting, Sams Club use to sell cigars and humidors. We called em Samadors because they were a great deal. They were made by IDC and were like $30.00 for a 75 count humidor. They kept cigars in a walk-in type humidor but had a crap selection of smokes.
It depends on the market. Many in chicago sell Ditka's cigars that are made by pacific-cigars.com. Don't know how they are, they're not kept in a humidor because according to the package, their vacuum sealed tubes keep the humidity perfect.
I've also seen cigars sold at a LI (Long Island) costco.
